Nike Zoom Pegasus 41 Review

Blue and grey Nike shoe on white backround

There are few shoes that have been as revolutionary for running as this shoe. Right from the first ever iteration of the Pegasus range runners all over the world have loved them (me being one of them). I have really enjoyed testing this shoe over the past few months and I have to say that this was treat.

In this Nike Zoom Pegasus 41 review I will be going through the good and the bad of this revolutionary shoe.

A good level of cushioning is an essential component of a great shoe. A cushioned midsole helps relieve stress from the joints and provides support that makes long distance runs much easier.

Good support is essential for all runners, so it is very important that when buying trainers an individual buys running shoes that have enough support. That may look different for all runners but it is important to consider.

It is important that a supportive running shoe provides a stable platform and reduces the risk of potential injuries.

I believe that it is important to buy shoes that have been built to last. If you are going to spend your own money on shoes then they should stay in good working condition for many months to come.

Making sure your shoes fit properly is very important as if a shoe is too big it can cause the shoes to start to rub against you feet causing blisters and other discomforts. By not having a shoe that fits it will also get rid of the possibility of a comfortable run.

Breathable materials in the upper part of the shoe helps keep the feet cool and dry during runs. This is because it helps prevent the build up of sweat and moisture in the shoe which reduces discomfort and irritation when running.

A breathable upper shoe enhances comfort and can be a life saver when running in hot days as it helps prevent overheating. This makes shoes with this feature an excellent choice as well as a comfortable fit.

Running shoes can get really expensive and if you are someone that runs a lot you will have to keep coming back to buy more. This can really add up which is why I have added cost to the list of important factor.

Energy Return

There is no better feeling than being propelled by a responsive running shoe. A running shoe should that gives energy back to the runner can make all types of runs feel so much nicer. This category is even more important in race day shoes.

My First Impressions of the shoe

As soon as I took these shoes out of the box I was instantly drawn to the shoes funky colour scheme. I was a big fan right from the get go. When I tried the shoe on I noticed how breathable the upper and the luxuriously soft foam.

I decided to try these shoes out on my usual Sunday long run and I have to say that I was a big fan of the comfort and energy return. It was better than many race day shoes which I found quite remarkable.

At first I was very impressed with the overall quality of the shoe and was looking forward to using it more.

Why you should by this shoe

If you are looking for a daily trainer that is durable, breathable, comfortable and fast then look no further than the nike zoom pegasus 41 trainer. Every aspect of this shoe is desgined very close to perfection and I am yet to see another shoe that is this well made.

Why you should not buy this shoe

I really like this shoe but it does come at a cost and there is no need to spend this much money on a daily trainer fopr some runners. You can get a good running shoe for about half the price that would still allow you to enjoy running.

Upper of the shoe

As I have already mentioned the upper of this shoe is designed very well. It is breathable and it also offors some amazing lockdown. The combination of support and breathability makes for a ride that you would struggle to find in any other shoe.

Foam of the shoe

In my opinion the foam on a shoe is one of the most important parts and if it is made well it can make a shoe great. In this case the foam was excatly what I would have wanted. It was lightweight, very responsive and very comfortable.

Sole of the shoe

A shoe can have the best foam and upper but if it doesn’t have the traction to finish the job then it is quite frankly useless. In this shoe the sole provided soime good traction and had to he durability to keep that going for long after 200km.

Conclusion to this Nike Zoom Pegasus 41 Review

To conlcude I think I might have just foudn my new favourite shoe but it does come at a price. This shoe was really the full package and I weould definitly recomend it to any experienced runner who is willing to dig deep into their pockets.
